VOD files appearing as "Media Offline" on Baton Media Player when QC'ing (VOD Media Offline)
This error is caused when the 10.98.105.99 ABSFNAS001 doesn't respond and AME's are unable to track the media files on the NAS, causing the "Media Offline" error.
How to:
1. When a VOD file appears as "Media Offline" on Baton Media Player that is because of 10.98.105.99 ABSFNAS001 (Rack CA06), which is either not responding or has crashed.
2. As the 10.98.105.99 ABSFNAS001 doesn't respond AME's are unable to track the media files on the NAS, causing the "Media Offline" error. All the AME's in this scenario are working as expected.
3. The solution is to restart 10.98.105.99 ABSFNAS001 and process those files manually.
Tip: One can restart the NAS by pressing down the power button which is on the front panel of the NAS in this case. Press down the power button, leave around 10 seconds gap for the disks to stop spinning and press the power button again to restart.
