How to connect

Dropbox PC Client

 

                                                                          

Query? 

 

Dropbox not syncing (cannot see the latest file or the latest changes made to a file)


 

How to:

 

1. Locate the Dropbox Sync Client in the taskbar.

 

 

 

 

 

 2Right-click on the icon and the following window will appear. 




 

3. Then left-click on the profile button on the upper right-side corner of the dropbox window as shown below.




 

4. You will see a pop-up window as below, then click on 'Preferences'. 

Please make sure the ‘Pause Syncing’ option in the window is NOT checked. (When ‘Pause Syncing’ is checked it should show ‘Resume Syncing’ in place of it)

 




5. Make sure the ‘Start Dropbox on system startup’ option is checked.

 

 

 

 


  

 

6. Navigate to the Bandwidth menu and make sure ‘Enable LAN sync’ option is checked.

 

 

 





 7Finally, navigate to the Sync option in the menu and check the ‘Let my admin manage this setting’ option, once that’s done click Apply and Ok.

 

 

 

 

Tips: Selective Sync option in the Sync Menu should be set up by the admin while initially installing Dropbox on your PC.
